What kind of abs are you shooting for? We are in a society of abs obsession. Washboard muscular abs take a lot of hard work using weighted exercises. Flat abs could be achieved from more balancing and static exercises such as those used in yoga, and Pilates. Planks, side planks, are all great exercises to use for abs.
Whatever your goal may be, remember that percentage of body fat have a lot to do with whether your abs will show through. Keep that diet clean!
These are great books that have sensible diet advice. They talk about 12 power foods, eating 6 times a day, etc. Also included are recipes, advice for snacks and is all in all a good short read.
