Ok, I know this isn’t a good sign… I’m eating jambalaya. I messed up my diet for the week. I promise that I’ll better after this weekend in Los Angeles. I cannot diet, when I’m with my boo and especially when I’m in Los Angeles. We visit every month or two and this is when I like to eat. Eating as you know, is my favorite pastime and New Orleans food fare is one of my favorite types of food. The spicy shrimp, the andouille sausage, with rice and collard greens with my favorite cornbread.
What can I say? I’m human. Now, I’m still determined to lose the 10 pounds at least and I will feel like my former self. Everyone says I look fit, but I am a perfectionist and added 10 pounds does not make me happy. That being said, starting tomorrow I should be back on track and we won’t be back in Los Angeles for another month or two.
The only good thing is that I’ve been working out all weekend during my trip here, continuing my circuits. Yesterday’s circuit included:
Circuit 1 : Single leg squat to bench, Barbell upright row, Pike Pushup, Hand Walkouts
Circuit 2: Pendulum step over, Single Arm Dumbbell Row, Y-press, Bent-over Lateral Raise
Circuit 3: Alternating Jump Lunges with Weights, Dumbbell Incline Press, Barbell Stiff Legged Deadlift, Dumbbell Bicep Curl
Some circuits I did twice, some once depending on the difficulty. Again, these are all supplied by Joel Marion with further detail than I’m giving. You’ll have to buy his online book. He has so many! Anyhow…
